Renowned for her advocacy of engineered sustainable solutions and environmental stewardship, Catriona was honoured with a CBE for Services to Engineering in the 2024 King’s New Year Honours. She brings more than 35 years of global infrastructure experience, having held executive leadership roles spanning energy, environment, nuclear, water, and waste sectors.

Catriona is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. She has previously served as Professor of Sustainability, Risk and Resilience at Newcastle University and is a Court member at Strathclyde University. Her Board experience includes Chair of Artus Air Ltd, Senior Independent Director of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, and Non-Executive Director at Scottish Water Group, the National Physical Laboratory, and NES Fircroft Ltd.
As Chairperson of Nuada, Catriona will collaborate with the Board and Executive Team to drive the company’s continued growth.
