We are thrilled to announce that Nuada has been awarded the prestigious “Innovation in CCUS Technology” award at Carbon Capture Canada 2024 – Canada’s national CCUS convention. This recognition highlights the significant strides we have made in pushing the boundaries of carbon capture technology.
We are proud to have been selected as the winner of this award from a field of top-tier innovators in CCUS which included Carbon Clean, Carbon Upcycling Technologies, CERT Systems, Carbonova, Mantel, Halliburton, and Svante.
Our focus on innovation has always driven our approach to solving some of the most pressing challenges in carbon capture – particularly those around cost, energy consumption, and process integration. By leveraging advanced solid materials, named Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs), alongside our vacuum swing adsorption technology, Nuada is setting a new standard in efficient and scalable carbon capture solutions. This innovation is designed to address the limitations of traditional approaches, making it easier for industries to reduce their carbon footprint without compromising on performance or affordability.
This award marks another significant achievement in our journey, once again shining a spotlight on our technology on the global stage. Nuada’s team and technology have also been recognised in the past having previously attained accolades such as: the “Most Promising Solution to Decarbonise Industry” award at Innovation Zero, one of six “most promising solutions to decarbonise cement” through the Global Cement and Concrete Association’s Open Innovandi Challenge, and finalists in both “Technology White Space” & “Start-Up of the Year” (highly commended) categories by Reuters Events Global Energy Transition Awards 2024. Nuada was also a finalist in the “Innovation of the Year” category by UK Green Business Awards 2024 and was highly commended by IChemE in the “Innovative Product” category.
